As the world prepares to witness the brilliance of the Super Moon on 5th November, astrologer, tarot card reader, and healer Rinhee Suberwal reminds everyone to align their energies with the cosmic flow rather than resist it.
“I don’t go by the Western calendar,” she begins. “According to the Hindu calendar, from 10:36 pm on 4th November until the evening of 5th November, we enter the sacred phase of Karthik Purnima. This time is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and is considered one of the most spiritually charged days of the year.”
She explains that charity, donations, and fasting on this day hold immense significance. “Chanting mantras like ‘Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya’ and ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ amplifies spiritual vibrations. The impact of these actions is a thousand times more powerful than on any normal full moon,” Rinhee Suberwal says.
However, Rinhee Suberwal also offers a word of caution. “During Purnima, emotions run high. Our mood is not at its most balanced state, and we tend to act on impulse,” she adds. “That’s why I always advise people never to confront anyone on a full moon day. Decisions taken under such emotional turbulence are often clouded and can lead to unnecessary conflict.”
Instead, she suggests channeling the heightened lunar energy into self-healing and detoxification. “Meditate more, stay silent if possible, and cleanse your system,” she advises. “Have detox drinks, rest, or indulge in healing sessions. This is a time to release negativity, not to react.”
Rinhee Suberwal concludes with a reminder that Purnima magnifies whatever energy we put out, positive or negative. “So choose peace, gratitude, and devotion. The moon may be at its brightest, but your calmness should be brighter.”
