Rajat Verma On Juggling Work, Rest & The Need To Disconnect: It’s Really A Task

Rajat Verma sheds light on the unseen struggles of time management in the entertainment industry.

From erratic shoot schedules to the constant buzz of social media, he reflects on the importance of setting boundaries and the art of truly switching off.

Itti Si Khushi actor Rajat Verma believes that in today’s fast-paced world, time is one of the most valuable yet difficult resources to manage.

“Time management, honestly, has become the toughest part,” Rajat Verma admitted, adding, “Managing all the commitments, deadlines, and then distractions, personal space it’s become an art in itself. So yes, it’s really a task to manage time.”

Speaking about life in the entertainment industry, he opened up about how unpredictable schedules add to the challenge. Rajat Verma said, “In this industry, there’s no fixed schedule. Plans change last minute, and shoots can stretch unexpectedly. You always have to be available. We don’t get enough time, really. But I believe it’s passion that keeps us going. When you truly love your work, you somehow make time for it.”

Despite the love for his craft, Rajat Verma stressed the need to create boundaries and find moments to disconnect.

Rajat Verma shared,

“In this line of work, we don’t really have Sundays. Shoots can happen anytime even on national holidays. Even on an off day, it doesn’t feel like a break because we’re constantly on our phones, and work never really stops. That’s why it’s important to create your own boundaries to decide how and when you disconnect.”

Rajat Verma concluded, “When you do get a day off, you should truly enjoy it. Focus on yourself, relax, and stay away from the phone for a while. That’s when you actually feel recharged.”
