Rajniesh Duggall On Celebrating A Cracker-Free Diwali: The Real Light Is In Our Hearts, Not In The Noise

Rajniesh Duggall shares his love for peaceful, cracker-free Diwali celebrations, choosing lasting joy over fleeting noise.

For the actor, the true spirit of the festival lies in gratitude, warmth, and lighting up hearts.

On the day of Diwali, actor Rajniesh Duggall shares his belief in celebrating the festival with peace, gratitude, and intention not with loud firecrackers.

He says, “I’ve always believed Diwali is about lighting our hearts, not about making noise. It’s about spreading love and warmth. Fireworks last only a few seconds, but if you light a diya in your heart, that glow stays with you forever. When we light a diya, we’re not just brightening our homes, we’re also spreading positive energy and gratitude.”

Though Rajniesh enjoyed firecrackers in his childhood, growing up changed his perspective. He reflects, “As a kid, Diwali meant crackers. My siblings and I would burn them after the puja. But as I grew older, I realized the happiness was momentary, all that remained after was smoke and harmful air.”

He adds, “I found more lasting joy in decorating the house, eating sweets, and lighting diyas. That feeling would last at least till the next Diwali, so I chose that path, and I’ve stayed with it ever since.”

Today, Rajniesh celebrates Diwali in a peaceful way with his loved ones. “I love lighting diyas, enjoying sweets, and surrounding myself with calm and positivity. That’s my kind of Diwali now. I’m deeply grateful for my work and the good health of my family,” he concludes with a smile.
