Shivani Gosain Reflects On 2025: ‘I Step Into The New Year With Gratitude, Strength and Clearer Boundaries

Currently seen as the main antagonist Pushpa in Rangbaazi Dilon Ki on Dangal TV, Shivani Gosain looks back at 2025 as a year that brought emotional growth, valuable life lessons and steady professional progress.

For the actor, gratitude stands out as the biggest takeaway from the year. Shivani Gosain shares that while 2025 gave her new learnings, it also helped reinforce a few important values. The most significant emotional shift in her life came in 2024, when she lost her mother. “The loss is irreplaceable, but from that moment onwards, I strongly feel I’ve been surrounded by her protection and blessings,” she says, adding that this unseen guidance has given her immense strength. With both her personal and professional life finding balance this year, she feels thankful for the stability that 2025 offered.

One of the key lessons Shivani learned in 2025 was the importance of boundaries. She believes not everyone deserves access to one’s personal space and that maintaining a professional distance at work is essential. “Many people don’t know where to draw the line when it comes to respect and dignity. Learning to protect my peace has been important,” she says. On a lighter note, the actor also explored new hobbies during a brief break, joining a badminton group and even learning gymnastics, which she hopes to resume once her shooting schedule allows.

Professionally, the year proved significant as several long-pending blockages finally cleared. Shivani Gosain recalls having a fulfilling experience working with LSD Productions, praising producer Prateek and the entire team for their professionalism. Playing complete contrast double roles in the show was creatively satisfying and left her with fond memories and meaningful associations.

Soon after wrapping up the project, Shivani signed Rangbaazi Dilon Ki as the main antagonist, Pushpa. Though the show faced delays due to pre-production and casting reasons, she chose to wait. “I was assured the role was strong and worth the wait, and it truly turned out to be so,” she says. The show eventually went on air on December 8 at 9 pm on Dangal TV, marking another important milestone in her journey.

Looking at 2025 as a whole, Shivani feels the year was a reminder of life’s unpredictability, especially in the wake of global tragedies, including natural disasters and the loss of several public figures. “It makes you realise how important it is to value the present moment and the people around you. Nothing should be taken for granted,” she reflects.

As she prepares to welcome the new year, Shivani is clear about what she wants to leave behind, unnecessary chaos, emotional drain and giving people liberties they haven’t earned. Signing off, she says that while 2025 wasn’t without challenges, it was far more manageable than previous years. Thankful to God and her “guardian angel,” her mother, for guiding and protecting her at every step, Shivani steps into the new year with a more evolved mindset, grounded strength and a deeper attitude of gratitude.
