Leading OTT platform JioHotstar is all set to roll out an original couple based reality show titled Shola Weds Shabnam.
Move past MTV Splitsvilla, JioHotstar is all set to bring an intriguing couple-based reality show which will surely give a lesson or two about relationships and the dynamics that can affect a happy relationship or marriage.
JioHotstar’s upcoming reality show Shola Weds Shabnam will witness popular celebrity couples coming together to discuss their relationship, the struggles and challenges that they face along with wanting to make things work with their partners.
The show will trace the journey of celebrity couples whose relationships look perfect but face challenges deep down. As the name suggests, the show is made with the thought that couples can have different personalities like hot and cold (Shola and Shabnam), however, it is working out on differences that matters to sustain a happy relationship.
As per sources, the show will be a twenty episode long series and will have many twists. Shola Weds Shabnam is slated to go on air from 7th June 2025. The show will also have an exciting host who will help couples navigate through the dynamics of the show.
In the past, many couple based shows have been made which has left a mark on the viewers’ mind. The most popular couple dating show has been Splitsvilla. The show has aired fifteen seasons and is loved by the audiences.
Recently, Mouni Roy and Karan Kundrra turned hosts for another couple-based reality show titled Temptation Island.

Jio Hotstar’s new show Shola Weds Shabnam is quite similar to MTV’s yet another reality show Love School. It will be exciting to see how the makers of the show will try to keep Shola Weds Shabnam distinguishingly different from MTV Love School.
