Claudia Ciesla opens up about her journey from acting to wellness, her love story, and why web series excite her most today.
She’s now focused on taking on roles that break stereotypes and leave lasting impact.
Claudia Ciesla, known for films like Khiladi 786 and Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, and for her stint on Bigg Boss Season 3, believes that every medium films, web series, or television has its own unique appeal.
“Films have a grandness and magic to them they live forever and reach audiences across the globe,” she says, adding, “Television, on the other hand, builds a deep, personal connection with viewers, as they see you daily and begin to feel like you’re part of their family. Web series are especially exciting because they allow for more experimentation, bold storytelling, and layered characters.”
Though she enjoys working across all three platforms, Claudia Ciesla admits web series currently hold a special appeal. “They’re really pushing boundaries and letting actors explore roles that are fresh and unconventional,” she says.
Claudia Ciesla was last seen on the silver screen in 2018 and shared that her break from acting was both “natural and intentional.” She explained, “My interest in nutrition and wellness was growing alongside my acting career, and that passion gradually became a bigger part of my identity.”
She spent those years writing her book, developing her wellness brand Claudia’s Concept, and hosting her talk show. “Those commitments demanded a great deal of focus and dedication. Acting never vanished from my life it just took a backseat as I explored new passions,” she said.
Claudia Ciesla also made space for her personal life during that time. She says, “I was lucky to find my soulmate, Arjun Goel. Being with him feels like a fairytale. He’s kind, genuine, and makes everyday life feel magical.”
Looking ahead, Claudia is drawn to roles that reflect strength and transformation.
“Whether it’s a high-impact action role or an emotional journey, I want to portray women who inspire and challenge stereotypes. I’m also passionate about stories that tackle social issues while still being entertaining. Cinema can create awareness and that’s powerful,” Claudia Ciesla concludes.
