Actress Adrija Roy, currently seen as Rahi in Rajan and Deepa Shahi’s top-rated show Anupamaa, says the experience of joining such an established ensemble has helped her evolve both personally and professionally.

“Anupamaa is more than just another show it resonates with people across generations,” says Adrija, adding, “Rahi is a complex character. She’s not just emotional, but also grounded and quietly strong. Playing her lets me explore subtle shifts in emotion, and that’s something I’ve really enjoyed. I’m thankful to Rajan sir and Deepa ma’am for giving me this opportunity.”
While she has made a mark with her calm screen presence and nuanced expressions, Adrija doesn’t shy away from calling her time on the show a learning curve. “There are some incredible actors on this set. Just watching them perform teaches me a lot. Everyone brings their own style and energy, and being around that kind of talent pushes me to do better,” she shares.

“Whenever I get some time off, I love travelling it gives me a break and helps me reconnect with myself. I also try to spend time with my family and close friends. They keep me grounded.”
