Somy Ali Applauds Kajol & Twinkle’s Talk Show, Calls Them “Unapologetically Real Women”

Somy Ali applauds Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show Two Much for its raw, honest, and refreshing conversations.

She calls their dialogue revolutionary.

Former Bollywood actress Somy Ali, now based in Florida and running her NGO No More Tears, has always been known for speaking her mind whether it’s good, bad, or uncomfortable. Recently, she watched an episode of Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show Two Much with Kajol & Twinkle, and was thrilled to see Bollywood finally embracing unfiltered, authentic conversations.

“I adore both Kajol and Twinkle; they’re unapologetically real women who’ve lived, learned, and evolved in front of the camera,” she said, adding, “I wanted to see what happens when two fiercely intelligent women sit down and talk without pretense and it didn’t disappoint.”

Somy found it refreshing to see women of their stature speak freely about their pasts, insecurities, and humor. She said, “We’ve seen polished interviews before, but Two Much felt like eavesdropping on two friends who’ve survived the chaos of fame and still laugh about it.”

She praised the show’s honest dialogue as a kind of quiet revolution. She said, “When women speak their truth, the world shifts a little closer to honesty. Kajol and Twinkle showed you can be glamorous and grounded, witty and wounded, all at once.”

When asked how she even found time to watch Two Much, Somy admitted, “Between counseling survivors and handling rescues, I barely get a moment to breathe. But when I do, I gravitate toward conversations that matter.”

She also reflected on a nostalgic moment when Salman Khan and Aamir Khan appeared on the show and Salman sang a song. She shared, “It took me back to the golden era of Rajesh Khanna. Kakaji’s songs had soul. Hearing that melody again was bittersweet art connecting generations, with pain turning into poetry. It made me smile and reminded me how everything comes full circle.”

“Two Much was more than a show; it was therapy in heels and laughter. I watched it late one night, with my laptop and coffee, and felt like I was part of that conversation honest, unfiltered, and healing,” she concluded.
