“I Google Horoscope Compatibility!” Garvita Sadhwani Opens Up About Believing in Zodiacs for Love
Ishika Shahi’s new web series titled Jabb Zodiacs Met has grabbed the audience’s attention for its relatable concept. The series revolves around the 12 zodiac signs and their influence on an individual’s life. It has been produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Production and streams on their official YouTube channel. Garvita Sadhwani plays the role of Latika in the series and shared that she was intrigued by the story.
Garvita Sadhwani Talks Astrology, Love & Playing a Leo in Jabb Zodiacs Met
She said, “I truly believe in zodiacs. I think whenever I meet someone, whether I want to be friends with them or I feel that I am vibing with them, one of the first things I ask is their zodiac sign. I genuinely believe that according to our zodiac signs and our rashis, the characteristics we have are actually very true. That is why when Ishika narrated the entire story to me, I was extremely excited because it is something I personally believe in.”
“I also believe that the love we experience and the life partner we find are connected to zodiac signs. Even when I like a boy, I always ask about his horoscope and then Google whether there is compatibility between our horoscopes or not. I am a Taurus, so when Ishika Shahi told me the story, I was very intrigued. It was a very fresh, very new-age love story, and it has come out exactly like that. I am very happy to be a part of it,” Garvita Sadhwani added.
Zodiac signs guide traits and behavior, but emotions still have to come from a very human place.
She revealed that she is a Taurus-Aries cusp, and she did some research about the traits of a Leo, which she played on-screen. She said, “In some situations, I am an Aries, and in some situations, I am a Taurus. A cusp is a completely different ball game altogether. So I did not really have to explore my horoscope as such.”

“However, the zodiac sign I am portraying in the show is Leo. I did not know much about Leos earlier, although I knew my father, but there is also a big difference between Leo men and Leo women. So I tried to research more about Leo traits and then behave accordingly. It was very different and very contrasting from my actual personality because Taurus and Leo usually do not get along very well since both are extremely strong-headed signs,” she added.
From Taurus-Aries Cusp to Portraying a Leo On-Screen
Garvita Sadhwani confessed that exploring and bringing a Leo character to the screen was really interesting and very creative. She added, “It was not just a creative process — it was something I do not usually get to do on television, which made it very fulfilling for me.”
But the most challenging part was to make something as abstract as astrology feel emotionally real. She said, “Zodiac signs guide traits and behavior, but emotions still have to come from a very human place.”
“Balancing astrological influence with real emotional reactions without making it look forced or mechanical was challenging, but it was also creatively exciting,” Garvita Sadhwani ended.
