Chaitrali Gupte on Destiny and Cosmic Connections
Actress Chaitrali Gupte is currently seen in one of the episodes of Jabb Zodiacs Met, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Production. The series, which explores the 12 zodiac signs and their influence on relationships and compatibility, is streaming on DKP’s official YouTube channel.
Speaking about her beliefs, Chaitrali Gupte shared that she strongly believes in destiny and cosmic alignment. “I truly feel that whatever the universe has written for you eventually unfolds. The universe brings people together and forms meaningful connections. What is meant for you cannot be taken away — it finds its way to you. I firmly believe in destiny,” she said.
Why Trust and Respect Are the Foundation of Every Bond
Working on the show also reinforced her views on relationships. Chaitrali Gupte emphasised that trust and respect form the backbone of any bond. “You have to trust and respect each other, regardless of the relationship — whether it’s between spouses, parents and children, siblings, or friends. That foundation is non-negotiable.”
Chaitrali Gupte further added that love, mutual respect, and personal space are essential ingredients for lasting relationships. “That understanding stayed with me even after completing the series.”
When asked what role she would choose if the stars guided her career, Chaitrali Gupte said she hopes to portray something relatable and meaningful. “I would love to play a strong protagonist again — something the audience truly connects with. And very importantly, I want to explore comedy.”
Admitting her fondness for the genre, she shared, “I absolutely love comedy. I’ve done it earlier in my career and would be thrilled to revisit it.”
Chaitrali Gupte also spoke warmly about working with filmmaker Ishika Shahi. She recalled visiting the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai years ago when Ishika was quietly observing the actors. “Back then, Ishika Shahi was shy and reserved, often sitting in a corner watching us perform. When I saw her again on the sets of Jabb Zodiacs Met, I was amazed. She has evolved tremendously — not just as a creator, but as a person.”
Praising her work ethic, Chaitrali Gupte added, “As a creator, she is extremely focused, dedicated, and clear about her vision. She knows exactly what she wants. If something isn’t working, she communicates it politely — very much like Rajan Sir. Working with her and her young, energetic team was a wonderful experience. Their enthusiasm and clarity reflect strongly in the show.”
She concluded by calling the entire journey a fulfilling and memorable experience.
