The ongoing second season of Laughter Chefs has been extended, a development confirmed by the show’s host, Bharti Singh.
The much-loved reality show Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment has been capturing viewers’ hearts ever since it first hit television screens. Blending humour, celebrity charm, and culinary chaos, the show has become a fan favorite in no time. Following the immense success of its debut season, the makers wasted no time in rolling out Season 2, which was originally scheduled to air for just a few months.
Initially slated to wrap up in March 2025, Season 2 received an extension until April 1 due to impressive TRP ratings and an ever-growing fanbase. Now, according to recent media reports, the show has been extended yet again and is expected to run until July 2025, bringing continued joy and laughter into households across the country.
When Downtown Mirror Weekly got in touch with Bharti Singh, the beloved comedienne and host of the show, she expressed her excitement over the extension. “I’m really happy the show got extended. The whole team feels like family. We’ll be airing new episodes until June or July — the exact date hasn’t been finalized yet,” she shared, clearly delighted by the show’s success and its impact on audiences.
Season 2, which began earlier this year, spiced things up by introducing several new faces to the kitchen-comedy mix. The production house brought on board popular celebrities like Rubina Dilaik, Mannara Chopra, Abdu Rozik, Elvish Yadav, Samarth Jurel, and Abhishek Kumar. These new contestants added a fresh dynamic alongside returning series regulars such as Sudesh Lehri, Rahul Vaidya, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Ankita Lokhande, and Vicky Jain.
Adding to the excitement, fan-favorite contestants from Season 1 — Aly Goni, Reem Sameer Sheikh, and Nia Sharma — also returned, bringing nostalgia and more hilarity to the set.
