Sunny Sachdeva who will soon mark his exit from Jhanak talks about the leap, his reaction and much more.
Star Plus’ show Jhanak is getting a lot of attention and all of this is because of the expected leap in the show. The news of a leap in Jhanak has been going around for a long time. The makers changed their minds and pushed the leap farther but now, looks like the time has come when Jhanak and Aniruddh’s love story will come to an end.
The show recently took a small leap after which Arshi and Aniruddh’s baby girl was shown living with Jhanak. In the upcoming episodes, the show will take yet another generational leap and almost the entire cast of the show will exit.
Downtown Mirror Weekly got in touch with actor Sunny Sachdeva who played the character of Laal Bose in the show and asked him about his first reaction to the generational leap. He said, “It was upsetting, of course. The show was doing pretty well and for years we were shooting together and everything was going smooth and thus it was disappointing to know about the leap in the show. I will miss my character Laal. Having said that, I am sure it is a well-thought decision and my good wishes are always with the show and the producers.”
Talking about his take away from the show, Sunny Sachdeva said, “I got a lot of love from the viewers. There was dislike and hate from the fans as well because my character was against the lead pair Aniruddh and Jhanak. While people hated Laal, I took it positively as I believed I delivered my performance convincingly. The trolls didn’t matter as personally, I got many messages in my DMs appreciating me as an actor.”
“Jhanak has been a fulfilling journey. I would like to thank all the fans who were so invested in the show. I’d like to thank the producers (Magic Motions) of our show. I got to learn a lot from all the incredible actors that were a part of Jhanak. We have a little shoot left post which the cast will bid a goodbye, until we bump into each other in another show, hopefully,” he concluded.
