Star Plus’ long-running hit show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to entertain viewers with its gripping storyline, emotional twists, and stellar performances, making it one of the most popular Hindi TV serials.
The current track of the show revolves around Armaan and Abhira enjoying parenthood as Ruhi delivers a baby girl. Interestingly, in real life, Armaan played by actor Rohit Purohit is all set to become a father. Rohit and wife Sheena recently announced their pregnancy.
Downtown Mirror Weekly got in touch with actor Romit Raaj who played the character of Rohit’s onscreen elder brother in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and asked him about his thoughts and reaction to the good news shared by Rohit and Sheena.
Romit Raaj said, “I am enthralled for them. God bless them with all the happiness and I wish them a happy and healthy baby. I am very excited to know that their parenthood journey has started and I am looking forward to seeing the baby. I have, of course, messaged Rohit and Sheena both. I want the baby to arrive as soon as possible. I really want to see that big smile on Rohit and Sheena’s faces.”
The Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si actor further added, “Parenthood is a different journey altogether. It is only after you become parents you realize how you spent the time with your spouse without the baby because after the baby is born, he/she takes the charge and becomes the center of the world for the couple. I hope, wish and pray for immense love and happiness for Rohit and Sheena’s family.”
