Naman Shaw Returns Refreshed After Maldives Family Vacation with Wife, Son Krivaan & Friends
Naman Shaw recently pressed pause on his hectic TV schedule for a quick family getaway to the Maldives and he’s back on set feeling sharper than ever. The actor is currently winning hearts as Adit Saxena in Mangal Lakshmi.
“I was on vacation to Maldives. I went with my family — my wife, my son Krivaan — along with friends who are also fellow parents of Krivaan’s schoolmates. So three families total, three parents, three kids,” Naman Shaw shares.
“Breaks Like This Prevent Burnout” — Naman Shaw on Work-Life Balance
The trip, planned a month in advance around the kids’ school break, was a deliberate escape from city life. “We planned it nearly a month ahead, since we knew the kids’ vacations were about to begin. After going through a bunch of locations, we picked Maldives because I had to be back for shoot in four days. It was the quickest trip we could pull off and still get that proper break.”
For Naman Shaw, the destination wasn’t just about luxury — it was about nature. “For the kids, we wanted to give them a break from the usual concrete jungle. We wanted nature. Beach, sun, clean water, diving — Maldives fit perfectly. The weather was spot on, Really pleasant.”
A Quick Escape Before Returning to Mangal Lakshmi Shoot
Daily soaps come with a relentless grind, and Naman Shaw is candid about how short breaks keep him going. “Absolutely, It’s always nice to have a vacation to look forward to. The demanding schedules are part of the job, but knowing there’s a break ahead helps maintain balance and keeps me motivated during long shooting stretches. Four days felt like four weeks mentally. I’m back on set now and already feel sharper. Breaks like this stop the burnout before it starts.”
Known for powerhouse roles in Kasamh Se, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, amomg others. Naman Shaw made a strong comeback with Mangal Lakshmi, embracing a layered, grey character as Adit Saxena.
“Between intense scenes and long hours, the Maldives trip was more than a vacation — it was a reset. And for me, that’s the secret to staying at the top of his game,” Naman Shaw concluded.
