Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda are all set to shoot the promo for Ekta Kapoor’s much-awaited show, tentatively titled Baaharein, on March 7. The show, which will feature the popular pair as the lead couple, is expected to premiere after the conclusion of Celebrity MasterChef and most likely on March 24. Fans of the duo have been eagerly anticipating the launch of the daily soap, and now, with the promo shoot on the horizon, excitement is building even more.
On the casting front, Ekta Kapoor has been known to pay meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring her characters look just right. There were speculations regarding Shivangi Joshi’s role, with many wondering if she would take on the protagonist’s part. However, those speculations were eventually put to rest. During all the rumors swirling around, Shivangi was quietly preparing for the role, both emotionally and physically. In fact, one of the biggest transformations for the actress was her hair color. She underwent a significant change, coloring it black to match the character’s look.

A source from the project shared, “We needed Shivangi’s hair to be a deep black. Initially, we considered using a wig, but ultimately, we decided it would be more authentic for her to color her hair black.”
Shivangi, who has starred in numerous successful shows such as Beintehaa, Begusarai, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Balika Vadhu 2, and Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, is most widely recognized for her portrayal of Naira Singhania Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Harshad Chopda, known for his roles in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Dr. Abhimanyu Birla, as well as in popular shows like Left Right Left, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Tere Liye, Dil Se Di Dua…Saubhagyavati Bhava, and Bepannah, brings his own fan following to the project, and his pairing with Shivangi is already creating a buzz.
With the promo shoot scheduled and the lead couple in place, anticipation for Baaharein continues to grow, promising an exciting new addition to the television lineup in 2025.
