On Mother’s Day, actress Indraxi Kanjilal opens up about her deep bond with her mother, crediting her for shaping her confidence and outlook on life.
As we all know, a mother is the beginning of every human being — she is where everything starts. On this Mother’s Day, we spoke to Pushpa Impossible actress Indraxi Kanjilal about her relationship with her mother, Rampi Roy Kanjilal.
Indraxi Kanjilal says, “Honestly, every day is a celebration with my mother because she is awesome and fun. My mother is my first-ever friend and my best friend. I literally share everything with her — the first guy I ever had a crush on, she was the first to know.
The best thing about my mom is that she listens to me and genuinely wants to know what’s happening in my life. I believe it’s a mother’s responsibility to make her children confident in life, and I think my mother did a splendid job of that. I feel very secure with myself. I never feel insecure about other people or anything they have.”
Indraxi Kanjilal adds, “I feel like every day is Mother’s Day. Every day is special because we get to live thanks to our mothers. They raised us and shaped us into the people we’ve become today. Of course, fathers have their own contributions, but a mother’s contribution cannot be compared to any other.
They nurture us from the very beginning, carrying us in their womb for nine months. I love the phrase, “God couldn’t be everywhere, so He created mothers.”
Indraxi Kanjilal shares that her mother taught her from an early age how to become a confident person. She says, “One of the most important lessons I learned from my mother is that trying your best is what matters — nothing else does. Winning or losing never matters.”
We all love our mom’s food, and Indraxi Kanjilal is no exception. Speaking about her mother’s cooking, she says, “ My mother is an exceptional cook, She is a culinary expert and knows how to make extraordinary dishes. If you eat her food, you’ll feel like it’s from a restaurant.” it tastes just like a meal from a top restaurant
Indraxi Kanjilal often consults her mother whenever she feels doubtful or confused in life. Although they live apart, Indraxi doesn’t make any important decisions without discussing them with her mother.
