Vandana Pathak explains, “It really depends on the character. If you’re portraying rich or high-profile people, glamour becomes necessary to bring authenticity and impact. So yes, for certain roles, that touch of glamour is very important.”
Vandana Pathak also observes a positive shift in the industry’s standards of appearance. “The television industry is moving beyond the stereotypical ‘fair and slim’ look or focusing only on face color. We are progressing towards more unconventional and natural portrayals.”
Vandana Pathak adds, “People are no longer stuck in boxed norms for male or female leads. The approach has become far more realistic, though of course, it always depends on the character you are performing.”
