Dalljiet Kaur wraps up her role in Dhaakad Beera and reflects on her fulfilling return to television, a medium she lovingly calls her “natural habitat.”
While planning her next project, she continues building meaningful content through her digital venture, Bottoms Up Studios.
After a three-year break from daily soaps, actress Dalljiet Kaur made a powerful comeback as Bela in Dhaakad Beera. Wrapping up her track recently, Dalljiet reflects on her return with contentment and confidence, calling the decision to take up the role one of the most rewarding choices in her career.
She shares, “Playing Bela was definitely a great decision. I was a bit unsure initially mostly because of my hectic travel schedule and not knowing whether I could commit to so many shoot days. But I’m so glad I said yes. Bela is a strong, empowered, and grounded character. The love I’ve received for her has been overwhelming. Jab TV wali audience pyaar karti hai, it feels amazing because they’re the most real kind of audience.”
While fans are eager to know what’s next, Dalljiet remains non-committal for now, though she hints at something on the horizon. She says, “I honestly don’t know what the next project will be. It depends on how many days I can commit. But I do feel I’m mentally preparing myself to dedicate more time to television work now. So, I’ll pick something accordingly and hopefully soon.”
For Dalljiet Kaur, television isn’t just work it’s where she belongs. Describing the medium with genuine affection, she admits that being back on set was an emotional experience. She says, “Coming back to television really felt like returning home. It’s my comfort zone it always has been. Being on set, working in this space it feels natural to me. I’ve grown up doing television, so it’s not just work, it’s a deeply emotional space as well.”
While her television journey is far from over, Dalljiet Kaur is also pouring creative energy into her digital platform, Bottoms Up Studio, where she’s producing content close to her heart. “You’ll see more of me on Bottoms Up Studios. We’re producing a lot of content focusing on cultural stories, beautiful tales for children and adults alike. I’m genuinely excited about that. And of course, I’ll keep coming back to television it’ll always be part of my journey,” she concludes.
