Speaking about his shift from TV to OTT, Sharad says,
“The OTT world gives you a lot of creative freedom. The storytelling is more layered, and the pace is different from television. But for me, acting remains acting it’s about truth, emotion, and connecting with your audience. Whether it’s a TV camera or a digital one, your honesty as a performer always shows.”
While he acknowledges that television brought him widespread popularity and a loyal fan base, he finds OTT a space for deeper creative exploration. “Television teaches you discipline and endurance you shoot for long hours, sometimes with changing scripts, and still deliver your best. OTT, on the other hand, lets you dive deep into your character. Both mediums have shaped me in different ways,” he explains.
