Anupamaa Actress Shiwani Chakraborty: Achievement Has No Finish Line, But Positivity & Patience Are The Keys To Success

Shiwani Chakraborty opens up about the dangers of neglecting health amid demanding work schedules and constant ambition.

The Anupamaa actress shares why positivity, patience, and well-being matter more than chasing endless achievements.

Shiwani Chakraborty, currently seen as Meeta in Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi’s Anupamaa, believes that in the rush to succeed, health often becomes the most overlooked aspect of professional life. Having experienced long work hours and demanding schedules firsthand, the actor feels that prioritising well-being is not a luxury, but a necessity, especially in an industry where endurance is often mistaken for dedication.

Shiwani points out how easily basic self-care slips through the cracks during hectic routines. She explains, “When life gets busy, personal health is usually the first thing people stop paying attention to. Our workdays are long, and sometimes we don’t even realise we haven’t had water for hours. That kind of neglect only ends up hurting us.”

She stresses that professional ambition and physical well-being cannot function separately. “Your health should always come before your work,” she says, adding, “The entire purpose of working is to build a better life. If your body isn’t functioning well, you won’t be able to work at all. No matter how driven or ambitious you are, health has to remain the priority.”

According to the actor, awareness alone isn’t enough if action doesn’t follow. She shares, “Most people know health is important, but very few actually treat it that way. It’s not limited to actors, everyone gets caught up in earning and surviving. Money is essential, yes, but we often get so consumed by work that we forget we might end up using that same money to fix our health later.”

She believes this mindset needs a serious shift before it causes long-term damage. “It makes you question everything when years of hard work eventually go into medical bills,” she says, adding, “If we focus on staying healthy from the start, a lot of other things automatically fall into place.”

Reflecting on ambition and the constant desire to achieve more, Shiwani admits that satisfaction is often fleeting. She notes, “There’s always another goal waiting, first recognition, then financial stability, then accolades. I don’t think success ever really has an endpoint. Still, reaching any stage through your own effort is something to value. I deeply respect the patience and hard work that brought me here.”

She credits her journey to principles that extend beyond career goals. She says, “What has guided me the most is staying hopeful and allowing things to unfold with time. Everything I’ve earned so far came from believing in the process and not giving up too soon.”

Concluding on a grounded note, Shiwani highlights the role of emotional strength and support. “It’s impossible to keep going if you lose balance or faith. Having the support of family and loved ones matters a lot because even the strongest people have weak moments. But if I had to sum it up, a calm mindset and the ability to wait things out are what truly help you move forward,” she shares.
