April 2025 Bollywood Release: Kesari Chapter 2 To Jaat, 6 Films To Look Forward To

It’s an all new month and Bollywood is geared up for a bunch of releases in April 2025. If you are someone who likes to stay updated on what’s hot and updated your watchlist for the month, we’ve got you covered.

Here are 6 big Bollywood releases for April 2025!

1). Jaat,  April 10

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Jaat will feature Sunny Deol in the lead role and is an out and out action film. Apart from him, the movie will also feature Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher, Viineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan, and Swarupa Ghosh among others.

2). Akaal, April 10

Having a clash with the Sunny Deol starrer, is the period drama, Akaal. Based on the story of Khalsa warriors, Gippy Grewal has written and directed the film. Apart from also featuring as the male lead, the movie features Nimrat Khaira, Shinda Grewal, and Gurpeet Ghuggi.

3). Phule, April 11

Another period drama on this list, this Ananth Mahadevan directorial is all set for a release on April 11, and features Pratik Gandhi and Patralekhaa in leading roles. As is self-explanatory, the movie narrates the story of activists Jyotirao and Savitri Bai Phule, while highlighting the latter’s journey and her fight for women’s education.

4). Kesari Chapter 2, April 18

Led by Akshay Kumar and directed by newbie Karan Singh Tyagi, the movie is a historical courtroom drama, who plays lawyer C. Sankaran Nair. It also features Ananya Panday and R Madhavan in important roles. The teaser of the film came out a couple of days ago, and it left everyone quite moves as it narrates the story of what happened in the court post the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

5). The Bhootni, April 18

The Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh and Palak Tiwari starrer is a horror-comedy and will clash with Kesari 2 at the box office. While the film’s videos have been catching quite the attention, it’ll be interesting to see whether the supernatural genre finds its audience this month.

6). Ground Zero, April 25

Emraan Hashmi is all set to be seen in an all-new avatar in this film inspired by real-life events. Set in Kashmir, Emraan’s character takes it upon himself to go on a mission to bring back peace in the valley, while figuring out all the conflicts that come his way.
