Aaditya Gupta, widely recognized for his portrayal of Mukul Ahuja in Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach (2022), is basking in the positive response to the third season of School Friends, which dropped last month. The actor is thrilled by the audience’s positive reaction and shared, “The response to the third season has been absolutely fantastic. The audience was completely captivated by the new twist and the fresh energy that Yashika, played by Ashnoor Kaur, brought to the series. What truly makes the show stand out is its authenticity and relatability, qualities that the entire cast and crew bring to the screen. I’m really excited to see where the story goes in Season 4.”
Aaditya Gupta’s journey into acting began back in school, when he and his friends participated in a short film competition during the 11th grade. Reflecting on his passion for acting, he says, “I believe every actor starts off incomplete in their craft. Like everyone else, I had a set of skills, but when I decided that acting was the path I wanted to pursue, I joined Rangakarmee, a theatre group where I received formal training and honed my skills. It was there that I worked to become a complete actor.”
Although he remains tight-lipped about his upcoming projects, he hints that the year ahead is shaping up to be an exciting one. “There are a number of things lined up, where I will be stepping into the shoes of some very diverse characters. Unfortunately, I can’t reveal much right now, but the future definitely looks thrilling. I just hope the audience loves it as much as I do,” Aaditya Gupta shared.
Every artist has a wishlist, and when asked about the actors he would love to work with, Aaditya Gupta is quick to name Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. He said, “I’ve been a big fan of both actors since their debuts. The authenticity and charisma they bring to such different characters is truly inspiring. They’re both fantastic talents, and working with them would be an incredible learning experience.”
