Udne Ki Aasha Actor Puru Chibber on Holi: I Love The Aloo Puri My Mother Prepares

Holi is a joyous festival that embraces color, happiness, and togetherness. It’s a moment when people from all walks of life come together to create colorful memories. Puru Chibber, who plays Tejas in Rahul Kumar Tewary’s Udne Ki Aasha, shares his personal connection to the festival and his favorite Holi traditions.

He expresses his fondness for the special food his mother makes during the celebration, saying, “I absolutely love the aloo puri my mother prepares. It’s the perfect comfort food after a fun-filled day of playing Holi.” He also talks about his preparations for the festival, saying, “I love wearing white on Holi, and I always apply coconut oil to protect my skin from the colors. I prefer using organic colors because they are safer for the skin and the environment.”

While Puru enjoys the excitement of both water and gulal Holi, he has a concern about the use of water balloons. He says, “Water balloons should be banned. I’ve seen how irresponsibly both kids and adults sometimes play with them, and people can get hurt. It’s important to play safely and responsibly during Holi.”

For the actor, Holi is all about happiness and creating lasting memories with loved ones. He says, “Holi is a joyous festival, all about cherishing moments with family and friends. Every year, we gather at my house, and after playing Holi, my mom makes aloo puri for everyone. It’s a tradition we’ve been following for the past seven years, and it brings us closer together.”

When asked what color he would be if he could choose, Puru reflects, “If I were a color, I’d be yellow. It’s vibrant and full of energy, yet it has subtle tones that make it unique, just like how I approach life.”

For Puru, Holi is more than just a festival — it’s an opportunity to celebrate with those he loves and create beautiful, safe memories year after year.
