The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai delivers another dramatic twist as Abhira uncovers the truth behind Sanjay’s professional failure, while the future of the Poddar law firm hangs by a thread.
The episode begins with Sanjay returning to his room and immediately sensing that someone has entered in his absence. Noticing the pillows and furniture have been moved, he grows suspicious despite Kajal (played by Preetii Puri Choudhary) assuring him that he is overthinking the situation. His doubts deepen when he receives an anonymous message asking him to meet someone late at night.
Abhira Exposes Sanjay’s Lie
Later, Abhira (played by Samridhii Shukla) calls Sanjay to his room and asks him to unlock a drawer that only he can access. Confused by her request, Sanjay questions why she has called him so late. Abhira reveals that Armaan (played by Rohit Purohit) had informed her about the drawer before retrieving the Malhotra case file.
She confronts Sanjay (played by Siddharth Vasudev) with the truth, revealing that he did not lose the high-profile case because of Manisha’s accidental coffee spill. Instead, he mistakenly carried the wrong file to court and later blamed Manisha to hide his own negligence.
Realising that Abhira knows everything, Sanjay accepts that she can expose him. However, Abhira makes it clear that she will reveal the truth only when the time is right.
Mr. Malhotra Loses Faith in the Poddar Firm
Meanwhile, Armaan receives an unexpected phone call from Mr. Malhotra, who expresses disappointment over Sanjay’s handling of the case. Having lost faith in the Poddar law firm, Malhotra offers the case directly to Armaan.
After discussing the proposal with Abhira, Armaan decides to accept the offer. Although Abhira worries about Sanjay’s reaction, Arman believes they can no longer allow family relationships to influence their professional responsibilities.
Sanjay Creates Chaos in Public
Back at the Poddar house, Disha (played by Isha Dheerwani) attempts to support Manisha by bringing her swimming essentials to help during menopause. However, Manisha (played by Shruti Rawat) remains unwilling to accept her kindness.
On the professional front, Sanjay urges Kaveri to convince Mr. Malhotra to continue working with the Poddar firm. However, Kaveri, Sanjay and Krish are shocked when they find Malhotra already discussing the case with Armaan and Abhira at a café.
Enraged, Sanjay accuses the couple of stealing his client. Armaan firmly explains that Malhotra approached him voluntarily after losing confidence in the firm. Unable to control his anger, Sanjay creates a major scene, forcing the café manager to consider calling the police. Krish (played by Aryan Arora) eventually apologises to everyone present and escorts Sanjay away.
Kaveri Fears the End of the Poddar Legacy
The incident leaves Kaveri (played by Anita Raaj) deeply worried about the future of the Poddar law firm. Despite everything that has happened between them, Armaan and Abhira decide to help Kaveri protect the legal legacy she has spent years building.
However, upon reaching the office, they are shocked by the deteriorating condition of the firm. Madhav also arrives after seeing reports about the public altercation and checks on everyone’s well-being.
Ashutosh warns that Sanjay’s repeated failures are pushing the firm towards financial ruin. Krish reveals that losing another major case could permanently damage the firm’s future.
Unable to bear the pressure, Kaveri asks everyone — including Armaan, Abhira, Krish and Madhav — to leave before locking herself inside her room. Concerned about her emotional state, Abhira resolves to reach out and support her.
Disha Collapses After Aryan Rejects Her
Elsewhere, Disha tells Aryan that she genuinely wants to help Armaan and Abhira rebuild their lives. Aryan, however, refuses to forgive her for falsely accusing Armaan and asks her to stay away from them.
Overwhelmed by the emotional confrontation, Disha suddenly collapses, leaving everyone shocked.
Emotional Ending Leaves the Poddar Firm on the Brink
Towards the end of the episode, Sanjay returns to the office and insists that everything is under control. Armaan confronts him with reality, reminding him that the Poddar law firm is on the verge of shutting down because of his repeated mistakes.
As Sanjay and Madhav get into another heated argument, Kaveri quietly removes her late husband’s portrait from the office wall. Abhira stops her, insisting the photograph belongs in the firm. A heartbroken Kaveri replies that there may soon be no firm left to protect, bringing the emotional episode to a heartbreaking conclusion.
