As Baisakhi is celebrated today with joy and devotion across the country, it brings back a wave of nostalgia and meaning for those who grew up immersed in the festival’s rich traditions. For Vishal Singh, who hails from Punjab, Baisakhi is more than just a celebration — it’s a heartfelt reminder of where she comes from and what truly matters in life.
Thinking back to her childhood festivities, Vishal Singh shares, “As everyone knows, I’m from Punjab. So naturally, Baisakhi has always been very important to me. Now that I live away from home, we can’t celebrate it as grandly as we used to back in Punjab, but the sentiment remains the same. I do miss those days — the joy, the energy, the way we’d all come together as a family and truly celebrate. Those memories are priceless.”
This year, he’s feeling especially grateful. Vishal Singh shares, “What I’m most thankful for is the health and happiness of my family — and my own. Everything else in life can come and go, but as long as your loved ones are with you, healthy and smiling, life feels truly beautiful. I feel incredibly grateful for that.”
Baisakhi also represents a time of renewal and positive change, and he’s embracing that spirit fully. “Like you said, Baisakhi is about fresh starts — doing something new or making a meaningful shift in your life. For me, that’s exactly what this year is about. I’m beginning something new, and I truly hope I get to see it through. I also hope my fans, who’ve always supported me so warmly, continue to show that love in this new chapter,” Vishal Singh says.
With a spark of ambition, the Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actor adds, “I’ve also been wanting to start my own clothing business. It’s been on my mind for a while, and this year, I’m finally hoping to turn that dream into reality.”
