On Mother’s Day, Yuvika Chaudhary talks about the pure, selfless love that defines this new chapter of her life. The actress became a mother in October last year and has named her daughter Ikleen.
As the world celebrates Mother’s Day, actress Yuvika Chaudhary opens up about her heartfelt journey into motherhood — a role that has redefined her priorities, identity, and sense of love. Yuvika and her husband, actor Prince Narula, welcomed their daughter Ikleen on October 19, 2024. Balancing her career and personal life, the actress speaks candidly about the emotional evolution she has gone through since becoming a mother.
Sharing her thoughts on what motherhood means to her, Yuvika Chaudhary says it is the most genuine and selfless form of love. She also speaks about the importance of self-care in order to be fully present for her child. She says, “After becoming a mother, I realized that ‘me time’ is really important. Before, I wasn’t that particular, but now I know that if I want to give the best life to my baby, I need to take care of myself. I have to be fit, focused, and grounded. Only when I love myself can I give my best in every role, especially as a mother.”
Yuvika Chaudhary reveals how she now carefully balances her work around her baby’s presence. She explains that she schedules her work so her baby can be close by, as she wants to avoid the guilt of being apart from her. She says, “I’m fortunate to be working and to have the flexibility to include her in my work life. I’m in a phase where I can take her along, and that brings me peace.”
Despite the demands of motherhood, Yuvika Chaudhary continues to prioritise both her personal and professional life. She shares, “I haven’t travelled without her. I even feel guilty stepping out just to go to the gym. A mother always wants to give the best of everything to her child.”
As she embraces the challenges and joys of this new chapter, Yuvika Chaudhary concludes that motherhood has made her more mindful and appreciative of life. “A mother’s mind is always working. But at the end of the day, it’s the most complete and rewarding feeling to have it all,” she says.
