After the marriage of Aryan (played by Randeep Rai) and Maahi (played by Spreha Chatterjee), the former passes away. He has an overdose of addiction to drugs and the Kothari family is stunned. They blame Anupamaa for hiding the truth and say that she has spoiled all their lives. Toshu (played by Manish Naggdev) too will slam her.
Anupamaa will be fed up of all the blame games and will start a new life in Mumbai. Now, Prem (played by Shivam Khajuria) will become a big businessman and will hate Anupamaa. This enmity that he holds will also affect his life with Rahi (played by Adrija Roy) Not only that, Maahi (played by Spreha Chatterjee) will want revenge from Anupamaa.

After the leap takes place, Toshu (played by Manish Naggdev) and Kinjal (played by Milloni Kapadia)’s rapport will change and Baa (played by Alpana Buch) and Bapuji (played by Arvind Vaidya) will no longer be seen in the show.
