I Have Grown From A Boy To A Man Through Parineetii: Paras Kalnawat

Paras Kalnawat sheds his chocolate-boy image as he steps into a mature, emotionally layered character in Parineetii. Confident in his transformation, he’s ready to win hearts all over again.

Paras Kalnawat is embracing evolution—not just in his career, but in how he sees himself on screen. Known for his charming, boy-next-door image in past roles, the actor took a bold step forward with his latest character in Parineetii.

After joining the show as the new male lead post a 20-year generational leap, Paras Kalnawat is eager to prove that he’s more than just a pretty face—he’s here to portray a character shaped by experience, emotional struggles, and a clear sense of direction.

Sharing his thoughts on the transformation, Paras Kalnawat says, “In Kundali Bhagya, I portrayed Rajveer—a sweet, innocent, pure-hearted guy. He was a boy in every sense. But Aditya in Parineetii.? He’s a man. He carries emotional baggage, he’s been heartbroken, and there’s a backstory behind everything he does.

It’s a complete shift from what I’ve done before. Playing Aditya is a big challenge, but also an exciting one because it pushes me into uncharted territory as an actor. I’m confident viewers will connect with him—there are layers in this role that I’ve never had the chance to explore before.”

Joining an established show with a loyal fanbase can be intimidating, but Paras Kalnawat welcomes the pressure. He shares, “Yes, there’s always the challenge of winning over an audience that’s already attached to the existing characters. But I’m used to that. Every time I’ve entered a new show, I’ve faced it head-on with confidence. Audiences often want to hold on to familiar faces, yet they also crave something new. That’s where I come in—with freshness and a different energy.”

Paras Kalnawat is also aware of the expectations that come with portraying a central character in a beloved series. But he isn’t fazed. He says, “I have no doubt that my portrayal of Aditya will resonate with the audience. I’m confident in my performance and know I won’t let them down.

I’ve worked on well-loved daily shows with loyal viewers, and I’ve always viewed feedback as an opportunity to grow. Taking on major roles doesn’t intimidate me because I have confidence in my abilities and what I contribute. Once viewers start connecting with Aditya, they’ll embrace him—and me—as they have with my past characters.”
