Anubha Arora emphasises the vital role mentors play in shaping both career and personal growth, reflecting on her own journey with influential teachers.

On Teacher’s Day, she honors the lasting impact of her gurus who have guided and inspired her along the way.

Anubha Arora, who will be seen in The Bengal Files, believes that having a mentor is crucial in both one’s career and personal life. Speaking on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, which is celebrated today, September 5, she said, “A mentor goes a long way in your career and life because they view your life and skills holistically.”

“They bring their experience together with your strengths to create a beautiful amalgamation, a complete package,” she added.

Her mentor has been Mukesh Chhabra, whom she regards as her teacher. She recalled, “I remember after our JUST ACT workshop with him, he saw one of my auditions and texted me that I’m a great actor. Since then, he’s been a constant source of motivation.”

“Anurag Singh, my acting coach back in the day, also laid such a strong foundation that I always felt confident stepping into a room full of actors to prove my talent,” she added.

Teacher’s Day Hold Great Importance In My Life

When asked about the significance of Teacher’s Day for her, she said, “Whenever I look back on my life and reflect on my journey, I see the people who made an impact, who helped me recognise my strengths, and shaped my choices. These people are my gurus and teachers.”

“Hence, occasions like Guru Purnima and Teacher’s Day hold great importance in my life. In fact, as a Kathak dancer, we would always perform a Guru Purnima pooja to honor our gurus,” Anubha concluded.
