Aadesh Chaudhary: Social Media Is Just A Part Of Life, Not The Whole Picture

Aadesh Chaudhary opens up about the fast-paced chaos of metro life, the illusion of social media, and why mindfulness is more essential now than ever.

Known for his roles in Laagi Tujhse Lagan and Diya Aur Baati Hum, the actor shares his grounded take on modern-day living.

Social Media Is Just A Part Of Life

Aadesh Chaudhary, known for his performances in shows like Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Sasural Simar Ka, and Diya Aur Baati Hum, is just as thoughtful off-screen as he is on it. In a candid conversation, the actor reflected on how modern life especially in metro cities often feels like a race, and why it’s important to pause, reflect, and disconnect from the illusion of perfection that social media promotes.

Talking about the daily hustle of metropolitan cities, Aadesh Chaudhary shared, “Life in metros is very fast-paced. Everyone is rushing because competition is intense. While it pushes you to work harder and achieve more, sometimes you lose out on enjoying the little moments of life. It becomes a constant race, and that can be exhausting if not balanced properly.”

On the influence of social media, he acknowledged its dual nature. He said, “The biggest positive of social media is that it connects people globally and gives you a platform to showcase your work instantly. But the flip side is comparison, trolling, and the pressure of being constantly visible. It’s a double-edged sword if used mindfully, it’s a blessing; if misused, it can be damaging.”

I Absolutely Agree That We Need To Slow Down

Aadesh Chaudhary maintains a healthy perspective when it comes to the digital world. He said, “For me, social media is a part of my profession, but I don’t let it control me. I use it to connect with fans and share updates, but I never treat it as a measure of success or self-worth. Real life is always more important than the virtual one.”

On mindfulness, he added, “Yes, I absolutely agree that we need to slow down. Mindfulness is essential in today’s world. Even if we can’t reduce our work pace, we can take mental pauses, practice gratitude, and stay more present.”

When asked about authenticity online, Aadesh Chaudhary offered a grounded take. He shared, “Social media is everywhere now, and the problem is that much of it is curated. People see only the highlights and feel inadequate. But social media is not reality it’s just a part of it. The key is to strike a balance and not lose yourself in the illusion.”
