The latest Bigg Boss 19 nominations task has once again come under fire, with fans and even former contestants questioning the show’s fairness. Viewers claim the task seemed designed to protect certain contestants while targeting others, reigniting debates about favouritism inside the Bigg Boss house.
For weeks now, social media has been buzzing with allegations that the makers are favoring a few names like Amaal Mallik, Kunickaa Sadanand, Tanya Mittal, and Shehbaz Badesha, while putting others like Ashnoor Kaur, Abhishek Bajaj, and Gaurav Khanna at a disadvantage. The pattern, fans argue, was once again visible in the recent nomination task.
In the episode, contestants were called in pairs and asked to choose one housemate to nominate from a given list. The results seemed predictable, Ashnoor, Abhishek, Gaurav, Neelam, and Farrhana ended up nominated, while others were conveniently safe. Many viewers felt the setup ensured that certain names landed in the danger zone, fueling suspicions that Bigg Boss was manipulating the game dynamics.
Even Kamya Panjabi, a former Bigg Boss contestant and vocal follower of the show, called out the task’s design on social media. She wrote, “Yeh kaisa nomination hai? Jis tarah ke options diye gaye the, it was so clear #BiggBoss wanted these people to get nominated. Ganda hai par dhandha hai yeh.”
Her statement echoed the sentiments of several netizens who accused the makers of scripting outcomes and keeping fan-favourite contestants under constant threat. One user posted, “Bigg Boss 19 needs to stop protecting the same few faces every week.”
This isn’t the first time the nomination process has sparked outrage. Earlier, during the locker-box task, former contestant Hina Khan also hinted at foul play, suggesting that the order of selection could have been manipulated off-camera.
With backlash mounting online, fans are demanding greater transparency in how nominations are decided—insisting that Bigg Boss should remain a game of strategy, not selective scripting.
