Adrija Roy, who is currently seen in Anupamaa, has been quietly making her mark in television with her natural performances and steady growth as an actor. From her early days on screen to her present work, she has evolved with each role, finding meaning not just in acting but in understanding herself through the process.
Talking about how far she’s come, Adrija says every project has played a role in shaping her. She reflects, “Every project I’ve been a part of has shaped me in some way, both personally and professionally. I feel acting teaches you something new with every character you play. It’s a process of self-discovery as much as it is about storytelling.”
Her path, however, hasn’t been without its share of challenges. Like many young actors, Adrija faced moments of doubt but learned to turn them into motivation. She admits, “There have been times when I doubted myself or wondered if I was on the right path. But every setback pushed me to work harder, to dig deeper. I think resilience is as important for an actor as talent.”
Now more confident in her craft, Adrija is looking ahead with curiosity and openness. She says she wants to explore new genres and experiences that push her boundaries. “I’m open to exploring diverse roles, something in the romantic-drama or thriller space would excite me. I believe an actor should constantly challenge themselves, and I’m always ready for the next chapter,” she adds with a smile.
