Vindhya Tiwari and Ashish Lohra’s Jodhpur wedding was filled with love, family involvement, and heartfelt moments, including a haldi ceremony she was most excited for.
The actress opens up about their destiny-driven love story, wedding week celebrations, and a future she steps into with gratitude.
Actress Vindhya Tiwari tied the knot with Ashish Lohra on November 25 in Jodhpur, celebrating a wedding that beautifully blended love, persistence, and destiny. Known for shows such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Sasural Simar Ka, Naagin 2 and Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Vindhya is now exploring films and OTT projects, yet her most cherished chapter unfolded this past week. After their roka on July 3, Vindhya and Aashish began a wedding journey filled with warmth, family moments, and rituals she had eagerly awaited.

As she stepped into married life, Vindhya opened up about her dreamy wedding week, the haldi she was most excited for, and the moments that made this milestone unforgettable.
Vindhya, who also celebrated her birthday on November 22, experienced an especially memorable week. “Every year my birthday turns out amazing, but this year was even more special because right after it… I was getting married!” she shared.
Her love story with Ashish has already captured hearts. “When a man truly loves, he goes above and beyond, I’ve experienced that myself. I blocked Ashish on Instagram, and he still found a way to message me on Facebook. I did everything possible to push him away, but he always told me the best people come when you innocently follow your path,” she said.
Wedding preparations were equally filled with tender moments, especially thanks to Ashish’s sister Priyanka. Vindhya said, “She works at Goldman Sachs in New York and is so busy, but she was making groups, sending references, video-calling me from the office! I have no siblings, so she guided me so much.”
One ritual she was truly excited about was her haldi ceremony. “Both families planned a full yellow theme. Everybody kept calling me, ‘Is this yellow okay? That yellow okay?’ My aunts, uncles, elders… everyone was involved. I was very excited for haldi because we planned special combinations,” she said.
Vindhya believes her journey unfolded exactly the way destiny intended. She said, “Patience and faith have a way of bringing the right things together. Even my film after the wedding wasn’t planned. After the honeymoon, my shoot starts immediately.”
Laughing about her double celebration, she added, “Of course Ashish is under pressure! First my birthday, then our anniversary every year, it’s the best thing from a girl’s point of view!”
Now happily married, Vindhya feels grateful for every blessing. “Weddings are about families coming together. Ashish and I want to take everyone’s blessings and grow even more,” she said.
