Her stylist, actor and fashion professional Riddhima Sharma, is delighted with the attention Tanya’s looks have been receiving and proud of how confidently she has embraced her style.
Tanya’s latest green outfit has taken social media by storm. Addressing the reaction, Riddhima said, “People are calling Tanya’s look bold, but I feel she’s simply exploring her style with confidence. Even her fans messaged me saying, ‘Ma’am, give her a saree with a slightly western touch.’ She looked both elegant and stunning in the green saree. It was a refreshing change, and she carried it beautifully. Bold or not, Tanya is just being her authentic, stylish self.”
Riddhima added that Tanya is redefining how modern women can carry ethnic wear. She said, “She blends tradition with a contemporary vibe—showing that sarees and lehengas can be youthful, versatile, and stylish. Whether it’s her draping style, colour choices, or the way she carries herself, Tanya proves ethnic wear isn’t old-school. It can be powerful and modern when worn with confidence.”
According to Riddhima, personal style varies from person to person, but public influence remains real, especially for younger audiences. She shared, “Tanya loves sarees, so naturally people start experimenting with similar looks. Even years ago, after Badtameez Dil released, Deepika Padukone’s blue saree went viral. Suddenly every youngster wore it for farewells. Public opinion can influence trends, but a celebrity should always stay authentic.”
While Tanya has been one of the standout fashion personalities of the season, Riddhima believes there’s a fine line between sharing opinions and passing judgments. “It’s perfectly okay to express your thoughts, fashion is meant to spark conversation. But when comments turn into harsh criticism or personal attacks, they stop being constructive,” she said.
