Megha Sharma, who is currently seen in Saajan Ghar, feels her craft has evolved with time.
She stressed that she not only performs now but also understands and feels the emotions to play it with more authenticity.
She said, “I feel acting grows with life experience. The more I understand myself, the more honestly I can understand others. With time, I don’t just try to perform emotions; I try to feel them. That makes my work deeper and more real.”

She thus stressed the need for actors to keep reinventing themselves. Megha Sharma said, “It is a need. The world is changing fast, and so is the audience. An actor has to keep learning, unlearning, and trying new things to stay honest and relevant.”
Stories are no longer only about perfect heroes or simple love tracks. Characters now have flaws, pain, and different shades, just like real people. This gives actors more space to explore.
Megha Sharma emphasised on the need for emotional strength for actors. She said, “This profession has a lot of ups and downs. Good communication, self-discipline, and staying grounded also matter a lot. These things help you survive, not just shine.”
She feels that the industry has become brave as it has become more open to experimentation and layered characters. Megha Sharma said, “Stories are no longer only about perfect heroes or simple love tracks. Characters now have flaws, pain, and different shades, just like real people. This gives actors more space to explore.”
The OTT space continues to grow and she believes it has brought a good change. Megha Sharma said, “Now your work can travel far beyond one city or country. If your work is sincere, it can live for a long time and reach people you may never meet.”
However, she feels that actors do have the responsibility to choose stories that reflect the changing realities of the society. “Actors influence people, whether they want to or not. So choosing the right stories becomes important. I believe we should support stories that show truth, respect, and real struggles. Entertainment is powerful, but meaningful entertainment stays longer in people’s hearts,” Megha Sharma ended.
