Naman Shaw Reflects on Mangal Lakshmi Ending: ‘I’m Choosing to Celebrate the Impact Over the Exit’
Television’s family drama Mangal Lakshmi is wrapping up. The show will shoot its last day on June 20 and the final episode will air on June 26. For Naman Shaw, who won hearts as Adit, it’s a moment to pause and reflect on a journey that’s meant more than just TRP numbers.
Talking about the show’s run, Naman Shaw keeps it real and grateful. “Look, every show has its own journey. Mangal Lakshmi had a really good run — we connected with audiences, and the love we received was immense. That itself is a big win for any daily,” he says.

Mangal Lakshmi Nears Its Final Chapter
For an actor, endings are never easy. Characters become part of you, and the set turns into a second home. Naman Shaw admits the attachment is real, but he also understands the business side. “As actors, we always want stories to go on because we get attached to the characters and the team. But these decisions are never in our hands. Channels and producers have their own strategy — slots, numbers, new line-ups. It’s part of how television works.”
What makes this goodbye different, Naman Shaw says, is closure. Not every daily gets a proper end. “I’m just grateful we got the time we did to tell Adit and Mangal’s story properly, with a beginning, middle, and end. Not every show gets that closure. I’d rather celebrate what we achieved than speculate on what could’ve been. We had a strong run, we made an impact, and I’m walking away proud.”
Naman Shaw Opens Up About Saying Goodbye to Adit
After months of Adit’s highs, lows, and the constant tug-of-war between duty and desire, Naman Shaw is choosing perspective over regret. “I’m choosing to celebrate the impact over the exit,” he shares.
From navigating complex family equations to bringing vulnerability to Adit’s arc, Naman Shaw feels the character gave him as much as he gave it. And as the cameras roll for the last time this week, the actor leaves with no bitterness — only pride for a story that found its ending on its own terms.
Why Some Stories End But Their Impact Lives On
With Mangal Lakshmi set to go off, fans will miss the daily dose of drama. But for Naman Shaw, the takeaway is simple: some stories end, but the love they leave behind doesn’t.
