Aanchal Dubey on How The Ad Show Came Into Being
Content creator, entrepreneur, and nutrition advisor Aanchal Dubey has her own podcast titled The Ad Show. Sharing more on that Aanchal says, It wasn’t actually planned from the beginning.
I just wanted to start something on my own, and I decided to do a show. I wasn’t sure about the guest list or anything like that, but I wanted it to be a broad-spectrum show — whoever had a story worth sharing.
There isn’t really a single USP for the show. But one element I always bring to it is that my guests are everything on the show.
Why Aanchal Dubey Keeps Her Podcast Focused on Her Guests
I’m not a controversial host, I’m someone who just puts the story forward, whatever my guest feels like sharing, and however much they’re willing to share.
Aanchal Dubey adds, My guest list came from my contacts across different industries, and whoever was willing to share their story. Those became my guests.
When asked about the challenges of being an influencer, podcaster in today’s time.
She says, The challenge of being a podcaster or an influencer today is competition, along with the fact that what’s being watched a lot, the trend of today, is mostly very negative or very controversial.
So that’s difficult, especially if you’re not a negative person, not a controversial person, or if you don’t relate to that kind of subject matter. It becomes hard to stay relatable.
But good content does get appreciated too, and that’s my drive. So no matter what the challenge is, I’ll always do what I feel is right, and what’s right for others to watch as well.
Sharing more on the bigger plan, the young entrepreneur says, My big plan for the coming years is to make my channel as profitable as possible.
I have a lot of people who work alongside me, a team that’s been with me since inception and has trusted me. I have partners who have invested, people who have believed in my potential.
So my goal is to achieve the best possible fame and recognition for the show, and to make it popular.
Sharing that Aanchal Dubey says, I have a huge family: my parents, my sister, my husband, my in-laws, a big joint family, and all of them have always been well-wishers, always encouraging and supporting me.

Amrapali Dubey who is a very known actress has also helped me initially, talking to different celebrities to come on the show.
Even though I knew them myself, her being a star made a bigger impact, so they’ve always supported me and believed in me.
Aanchal Dubey further adds, My parents gave me a great education, which is why I’m able to converse with people well and stay relatable.
They gave me an environment where I was allowed to speak my mind, where my opinion mattered. I think that’s what groomed me into who I am today.
This might sound a little unprofessional, but I think my parents are my mentors, in a sense. Both of them are entrepreneurs, my father had his own business, and my mother still runs our own business.
I come from a family of entrepreneurs, so I’ve had enough role models in my life. Apart from that, I read a lot of books on positive mental attitude and different strategies to become independent.
Robert Kiyosaki, Napoleon Hill, Jim Stovall, Robin Sharma, these are a few authors who, through their books, have been mentoring me in a way. So I can’t really choose one person.
But if I had to take a name, I would say Ratan Tata sir, because he wasn’t just a great entrepreneur, he was also a great human being. And if I ever had to be known a certain way, that would be the way I’d like to be known.
Aanchal Dubey on Her 12-Year Sabbatical and Return to Work
Talking about the biggest support behind her comeback after a long sabbatical, Aanchal Dubey credits her husband and in-laws for constantly motivating her to pursue her passion.
Aanchal Dubey says, I was on a sabbatical for over 12 years. Every time my husband and I sat together and discussed how unhappy I was being a stay-at-home wife, he would tell me, ‘You have a new chance now, so don’t do something just for the sake of doing it.
Do something you’re truly passionate about, something that excites you and shows the world the potential you have.’ He was the one who encouraged me the most when I was thinking about starting my own show.
How Family Support Shaped Aanchal Dubey’s Entrepreneurial Journey
He has always been a supportive partner and kept reminding me that I had untapped potential that deserved to be used to its fullest.
She further adds, My in-laws were excited when I decided to start my podcast.
At the same time, my mother-in-law would tell me, ‘I know how much you love this family and your parents, and I know it will be difficult to start working again after so many years.
How Her Husband and In-Laws Encouraged Her Comeback
But don’t hesitate. We are all here to support you.’ Even today, whenever I stay home and think of postponing work, she reminds me that they’ll manage everything and encourages me not to miss the opportunity I’ve been given.
She always tells me to give my best and make everyone proud. I’m truly blessed to have both my parents and my in-laws as my biggest support system.
Without their support, I don’t think I could have achieved anything in life, not just this show but anything at all.
Digital podcasts have been trending for quite some time now. Right from actors to musicians to writers, everyone has started doing podcasts.
On this Aanchal Dubey says, I think the reason podcasts are trending so much is that people are interested in different subjects but don’t know exactly where to tune in and get more information.
