Neha Harsora on True Patriotism, Bhagat Singh and Her Independence Day Message
Television actress Neha Harsora shared her thoughts on Independence Day, saying that true patriotism is not limited to social media posts or celebrations, but is reflected in daily actions.
Speaking about how people celebrate 15th August today,
She said, “I don’t think patriotism is only about putting up a post or listening to patriotic songs on Independence Day. Those things are nice, but the real meaning of patriotism is in what we do every day.”
Neha Harsora added that small actions like being responsible, kind, and respectful are also a form of love for the country.
Neha Harsora on Respecting India’s Freedom
“Respecting our country, following our responsibilities, being kind to people around us and contributing in whatever small way we can — that is also patriotism,” Neha Harsora said.
Remembering the sacrifices behind India’s freedom, she said people should not take it lightly.
“We should remember that the freedom we enjoy today came with a lot of sacrifice. So instead of only celebrating the day, we should also take a moment to understand and value that freedom,” Neha Harsora shared.
Why Bhagat Singh Inspires Neha Harsora
When asked about the freedom fighter who inspires her the most, Neha Harsora named Bhagat Singh.
Neha Harsora said his courage and strong beliefs continue to inspire her. “He was incredibly young, but he had such a strong sense of what he believed in and was willing to stand up for it,” she said.
She also added that age is never a limit when it comes to making a difference.
His story reminds me that age doesn’t decide how much of an impact you can make. It is your courage and your willingness to stand for what is right that truly matter, Neha Harsora said.
Neha Harsora Urges Indians to Celebrate Freedom Through Action
Sharing a message for her fans, Neha Harsora urged everyone to value their freedom.
“We are fortunate to live in a country with so much diversity, culture and history. Let’s celebrate it not just with words, but through our actions — by being responsible, compassionate and respectful,” Neha Harsora said.
She ended her message by wishing everyone a Happy Independence Day and saying, “Jai Hind.”
