Not every memory is calm, though. Aanchal recalled one particular day that stood out above the rest.

It would be on my wedding day; I was a bridezilla, and she was at the receiving end of all my emotions up until my bidai, and then she lost it completely.

But I had to leave, and both of us realised that the dynamic had suddenly changed, so we patched up immediately.

But that was unforgettable and funny, and that hug after that fight was unexplainable, Aanchal Dubey added.

There’s also a quality in her sister that Aanchal Dubey admits she wishes she had.

Her confidence and strength to face everything head-on. I wish I had that courage and bravery to give back what people deserve for being rude or full of themselves.

She does that brilliantly and without even offending the other person. She is amazing; I wish I had that strength in me, Aanchal Dubey said.

Time has reshaped their dynamic in ways she didn’t quite expect.

Earlier I was more like a mother, teacher or guardian, but slowly it shifted to friendship.
