The significance of festivals often evolves as we grow older, deepening both spiritually and personally. For Adnan Khan, who is currently seen in Mannat – Har Khushi Paane Ki, this transformation has been particularly evident in recent years. His connection to his faith and religious practices has grown stronger, bringing a sense of inner peace and clarity. As Eid approaches, Adnan Khan shares, “Eid will be special this year, as I’ll be spending the day with my brother, who is in India. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the festival than being with him. It’s a time to come together and reflect on what truly matters.”

His childhood in Dubai was marked by grand celebrations, often centered around large gatherings at his uncle’s house. Adnan Khan says, “Eid celebrations were always held at my uncle’s home. We would eagerly anticipate the Eidi lunch and, of course, the Eidi money. I would typically receive 300 dirhams, and I’d spend it all at a gaming zone playing snooker. Back then, the day was all about enjoying games and collecting Eidi.”
Despite still being the youngest in his family, Adnan Khan now takes pleasure in giving Eidi to his staff. “Eid, for me, is no longer just about receiving; it’s about sharing love and generosity with others. I give Eidi to my staff, as it’s a beautiful way to spread joy and express gratitude,” he shares.
Reflecting on the shift in his spiritual journey, Adnan Khan adds, “My understanding of faith has deepened over time. I strive to follow the teachings of my religion, seeking to cultivate compassion and control my anger. It’s not always easy, but I make a conscious effort to grow spiritually.”

Adnan Khan concludes with a profound realisation: “As children, we don’t fully grasp the true essence of these festivals or the importance of our loved ones coming together. It’s only with time, when such moments become rare, that we truly appreciate their value. It’s not the number of people gathered that matters, but the profound connections we share, the love that binds us, and the spiritual renewal that such moments bring into our lives,” he concludes.
