With ever evolving, Delhi’s food industry keeps surprising us with unique and innovative concepts. One such unique destination that promises multi-cuisine dining experience swaddled in contemporary elegance is of Sufiaana By Cherish, a restaurant located in the heart of Ashok Vihar. Recently, we explored this restaurant where we tried a variety of Asian, North Indian, and fusion cuisine dishes.

A Grande Welcome
Our dining experience started in the best possible manner with the serving of restaurant’s signature Sufiaana Papad. As the name suggests, this papad comes in a large size and tastes absolutely delicious.

Best Appetizers You Can Have At Sufiaana By Cherish
If you ask me which appetizers were my favourite, then my pick will be the following three:
Cream Cheese And Truffle Mushroom Dimsums: These dimsums looked absolutely stunning. The filling of each dimsum was rich, creamy, and had a very nice aroma of mushroom and truffle.

Mushroom Galouti: A vegetarian interpretation of the classic galouti kebabs. The galouti was made out of vegetables and it turned out to be super delicious, soft, and juicy. Served with traditional accompaniments.

Paneer Tikka Hari Mirch: Although this dish was good, it did not impress me much as it could have done. The presentation was great but as for the taste, it was rather plain and lacked the distinctive smoky note that I usually expect from a properly prepared paneer tikka.

Flavoursome Main Courses
Now, let’s discuss our main dishes. the restaurant redeemed itself effortlessly with a selection of comforting and flavourful dishes.
The Dal Makhni was creamy, rich in taste and slow cooked to that perfect taste. It had a wonderful, velvety texture and its taste was very well-balanced.

Soya Chaap Rogan Josh was for sure, the best alternative to Kashmiri rogan Josh I have tried. The taste and aroma of the dish was simply outstanding packed with amazing flavour. I paired it with my favourite Hari Mirch Parantha.
Then we added an international touch to the table by ordering

. This is the dish that added some diversity to the menu. It had a nice aroma and a balanced taste of coconut and lemongrass contributing a great contrast to the richness of the Indian dishes.
Refreshing Beverage For Hot Delhi Days
Our meals are only complete with a refreshing drink on the side and I must say that Sufiaana By Cherish did it exceptionally well as the drink they served was perfect.
Sufiaana In The Sky Mocktail was a good choice with my meal. It tasted fresh, fruity and had just the natural sweetness to it, which acted as a refreshing palate cleanser between the courses.
Ambiance And overall Dining Experience
Sufiaana By Cherish is a combination of a sophisticated and pleasant ambiance with a menu that caters to diverse palates. The décor is very chic, modern, and comfortable with relaxed seating. Thus, this restaurant can serve families and friends who come here for a casual lunch or special event.
The restaurant excels in offering variety and delivering several standout preparations. The service between the meals may improve but overall, the staff was courteous and helpful.
Verdict
Overall, this multi-cuisine restaurant in Ashok Vihar impressed us greatly. The atmosphere, décor, menu, as well as dishes we ordered, were all amazing!
