Vicky Kaushal’s Blockbuster Chhaava All Set For OTT Release – Deets Inside

If there’s one movie that everyone’s been raving about ever since it first released in 2025, it has to be Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. While the movie has been embroiled in multiple controversies and there’s been a lot of buzz around the film, right now, it is turning out to be one of the biggest hits of the year.

The movie sees Vicky in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, and it was released on February 14. So far, it has managed to earn a whopping Rs 800 crore at the global box office, and almost 2 months after the release, it is now gearing up for the big OTT release and will be available for streaming.

The Laxman Utekar directorial, Chhaava, will be available to stream online from April 11 and will be premiering on Netflix at 12:30 pm. While we do await an official confirmation on everything locked, this looks like the current update and is likely to happen!

So if you missed Chhaava in theatres, now’s the time!

Meanwhile, Chhaava has had a dream run, if one would think, and managed to mint Rs 597.2 crore at the box office (as per Sacnilk). Produced by Maddock Films, Chhaava also features Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna and Viineet Kumar Siingh in pivotal roles, along with Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam, and Diana Penty.

Chhaava opened up to great reviews, and, in fact, the film’s screenwriter, Rishi Virmani, was all praise for Vicky as he spoke about how he managed to make everyone forget every other character he has played and when you watch the film, Chhaava is all you see. He praised Vicky’s versatility and also said how Kaushal makes every character interesting, and honestly, fans will agree.

While Chhaava did have its own shortcomings and felt a little too flat in certain aspects during the middle, the second half, along with Vicky’s performance, more than makes up for everything else.

Vicky and the film both received rave reviews, and rightly so!
