Imran Khan is all set to join Farman Haider and Sonakshi Batra in Rahul Tewary’s upcoming show Jagadhatri.
With shooting scheduled to begin soon, the casting of seasoned performers promises compelling drama ahead.
After delivering shows like Udne Ki Aasha and Ram Bhavan, producer Rahul Kumar Tewary and his banner Rolling Tales Production are gearing up for their next project, Jagadhatri.
The show is already creating buzz, with Farman Haider and Sonakshi Batra reportedly finalised as the lead couple. Now, the makers have added another well-known name to the cast seasoned actor Imran Khan, who was last seen in Kumkum Bhagya.
A source close to the production revealed that the casting process was meticulous, aimed at finding performers who could bring depth to the characters. “The makers were looking for someone with both experience and screen presence. Imran ticked all the right boxes. His role is a significant one, and he was the natural choice,” the insider shared. The team is expected to begin filming by the end of this month.
Imran Khan brings decades of experience to the table. He has been part of iconic TV shows like Tara, Dastaan, Lakeerein, Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Beintehaa, and Beyhadh. His film credits include Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Sooryavansham, Big Brother, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, and Heroine, showcasing his versatility across mediums.
Meanwhile, Farman Haider was last seen in Star Plus’ Pocket Mein Aasmaan, and Sonakshi Batra headlined Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha. The production house’s previous show Ram Bhavan, which aired on Colors and featured Mishkat Varma and Khushbu Rajendra, wrapped up in July after a six-month run. Their ongoing Star Plus drama Udne Ki Aasha, starring Neha Harsora and Kanwar Dhillon, continues to enjoy a steady viewership.
