Paparazzi Entertainment, led by producer Ajinkya Jadhav, continues to explore innovative storytelling through artificial intelligence. The production house has now unveiled the trailer of Peekaboo, touted as India’s first AI-powered horror film. After an eerie teaser that sparked intrigue, the newly released trailer raises the horror quotient significantly, promising a chilling cinematic experience.
A Bone-Chilling Trailer That Descends into Darkness
The trailer opens in escalating panic as a man sprints through pitch darkness, his breath ragged as he flees through a jungle that leads to a lonely hill-station hostel. In a narrow corridor, the sound of bones cracking freezes him in place. A little girl in a school uniform stands before him — silent, unnatural and terrifying.
A black crow perched atop a church spire watches with glowing red eyes before taking flight toward the hostel. In a sudden act of brutality, it smashes through a window and plunges its beak into the man’s neck, flooding the frame with blood.
Innocence, Rituals and Unfinished Games
The narrative shifts to a graveyard, where a man explains to a young girl that the dead pass through a hidden door to reach God. Her unsettling question — whether they can return through the same door — lingers ominously. Accusations of murder emerge, while a tantrik performing a dark ritual warns that if “she” ever awakens, she will be unstoppable.
Visuals of a statue of Mother Mary shedding tears of blood heighten the dread, followed by a harrowing sequence where a mother senses an unseen presence. Her daughter refuses to name her mysterious companion, moments before a ghostly hand drags the mother beneath the bed.

A chilling lullaby runs through the trailer, amplifying its sense of dread and emotional unease. Peekaboo doesn’t merely rely on jump scares; it builds an atmosphere where innocence, guilt and the past collide.
