“If You Are a Friend, Don’t Expose Personal Matters on National Television,” Dimpal Singh Slams Reality Show Fallout
Bhojpuri actress Dimpal Singh has reacted to the recent incident involving Bhavya Singh and Divya Agarwal inside the reality show The 50. Clarifying that she was not personally involved in the matter, Dimpal expressed disappointment over the way private conversations were brought into the public domain.

“Trust Once Broken Is Never the Same”
Dimpal Singh didn’t hold back while addressing the issue of confidentiality. According to her, friendship is not a performance for cameras — it’s a responsibility.
“I wasn’t directly connected to that situation,” she shared, “but watching what unfolded between Bhavya and Divya was upsetting for me as someone who deeply values friendship.”
Opening up about her views on loyalty, Dimpal Singh emphasised that friendships should not be performative. “Friendship is extremely important to me. I don’t act differently just because cameras are present. If I consider someone a friend, it comes from a place of genuine respect. But with that bond comes responsibility.”
“The Emotional Switch Felt Fake”
The actress also questioned the atmosphere inside the house. Expecting a competition driven by tasks and strategy, she instead witnessed heated confrontations followed by sudden normalcy.
“I thought it would be more about the game,” she admitted. “But there were emotional outbursts, fights — and then the same people behaving normally hours later. That felt artificial to me. I can’t switch emotions like that.”
Reflecting on the incident, she stated, “When two individuals agree that something is private, it should stay that way. If a friend confides in you and you disclose it on national television, then what does that say about the friendship? Once trust is broken, it can never truly return to what it was.”
Dimpal Singh also spoke about the atmosphere inside the house, admitting that it felt unexpected to her. “I assumed the focus would be more on tasks and strategy. Instead, there were heated arguments, emotional reactions, and then people behaving normally soon after. That shift felt artificial to me. I don’t think I can change my emotions that quickly.”
On the ‘Outsider’ Label
Addressing the “outsider” label often mentioned during the show, she added confidently, “Experience isn’t measured by the number of reality shows you’ve done. A single meaningful body of work can outweigh countless brief appearances. Ultimately, dedication and hard work speak louder than any tag.”
Despite her observations, Dimpal Singh maintained respect for the platform. “I genuinely appreciate the opportunities the show provides to artists. However, fairness is crucial. A competition should remain about the game. Personal dignity and genuine friendships shouldn’t be compromised for the sake of content,” she concluded firmly.
