Sherleen Dutt is incredibly excited about her upcoming project Parchhayi… The Shadow of Death. The actress, who has been part of shows such as KINK, Honey Trap Squad, and web series Koi Jaye Toh Le Aaye and Shringarika, says that the short film is sure to keep the audience engaged and on the edge of their seats.
She shares, “Parchhayi is a horror-comedy short film, set to release on Desi Drama OTT. While I can’t reveal much, the story is packed with suspense, humor, and eerie twists. It’s a fun yet thrilling ride that will keep the audience hooked until the end.”
She adds, “I am playing the lead role, but my character and her journey come with a lot of suspense. You’ll have to watch the film to discover more! The concept of horror-comedy excited me — it’s a genre I always wanted to explore. When I heard the story, I found it fresh and intriguing. The script had the perfect balance of thrill and humor, which made it an instant yes for me.”
Talking about the shooting experience, she says, “Our director, Tanvir Hashmi, and the entire team were very professional and well-coordinated, making the process smooth and enjoyable. It was a fun experience overall. Without giving away spoilers, The Shadow of Death represents an eerie force that lingers around the characters, blurring the lines between fear and reality. It’s the suspense that keeps the audience guessing!”

She adds, “My co-stars include Harjaap Brar and a fresh new talent. Each of them brought something unique to the film, making it a great collaboration. I have most of my scenes with Harjaap Brar. As for friendships, everyone was new to me, but we had a great time working together. The entire cast was very supportive and fun to be around.”
She further shares, “It was fantastic working on this project, and I hope the audience enjoys it as well. The entire crew was extremely professional and dedicated. Everyone on set worked hard to bring out the best in the film, and the energy on set was always positive.”
