For Rachel Babbar, the journey into television has been both exciting and deeply fulfilling. After spending six years honing her craft in theatre and gaining experience through commercials, the actor has taken a significant step forward with her television debut in Rahul Kumar Tewary’s popular show Udne Ki Aasha.

Reflecting on her journey into acting, Rachel Babbar credits theatre for shaping her foundation as a performer. “I got into acting through theatre, where I spent several years learning and performing. Before television, my entire experience was in theatre and ads, and that journey really shaped me as an actor,” she shares.

Talking about landing her first television role, Rachel Babbar admits the experience has been both exciting and rewarding, and she feels grateful for the opportunity to step into the medium. Reflecting on the unpredictability of the industry, she adds, “You have to trust the process. Things may not always happen the way you plan, but when an opportunity comes your way, you should be ready to give it your best.”

Expressing gratitude for her first big break, the actor acknowledges the support she continues to receive from the team and viewers alike. She says, “I’m so grateful for the positivity and support shown by the team and the audience. Starting my career with such a meaningful opportunity is something I will always cherish.”

Rachel Babbar also speaks warmly about the atmosphere on set, calling it one of the most rewarding aspects of her experience so far. “I share a great bond with everyone in the cast,” she notes. Among these relationships, one holds a special place for her. “It would be my on-screen sister Sailee (Neha Harsora). Over time, our bond has grown beautifully, and talking to each other now feels completely natural, like friends and sisters who share everything.”

Believing that growth is a continuous process for any artiste, Rachel Babbar is clear about what she wants to work on moving forward. “I want to let go of self-doubt. I’ve realised that I am capable, and from here on, I want to approach every opportunity with greater confidence and belief in myself,” she concludes.
