For actor Sameer Patil, the recent phase of his career marks a meaningful shift, one defined by rediscovery, range, and steady evolution. After a long break from television, the actor made a strong return, navigating projects across languages and embracing challenges that reshaped his professional journey.

Currently seen as Gopal Sharma in Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Sameer reflects on how consecutive opportunities strengthened his confidence and helped him grow as an actor. His return to television began with a Marathi daily soap, a space that felt familiar, before transitioning into Hindi television, a move that pushed him beyond his comfort zone.

Sharing insights into this phase, Sameer said,

“After a long gap, returning to television felt special. The Marathi show did very well, and during that time, I received the offer for Tumm Se Tumm Tak. From there, things started falling into place, and it became a journey of learning and growth.”

While Marathi remained his linguistic comfort zone, Hindi television brought a fresh set of challenges. “Language-wise, Marathi felt natural to me, but Tumm Se Tumm Tak required extra effort. I’m constantly working on improving and giving my best in Hindi as well,” he shared.

Sameer also credits his daily work routine for sharpening his craft. “When you practise your skill consistently, you improve every day. Acting in a daily soap is like doing riyaz regularly, it keeps you disciplined and creatively engaged,” he explained.

Though he was initially unsure about managing two shows simultaneously, the experience proved rewarding. “I was hesitant about taking up a Hindi show at first, but now that I’m doing it, I feel proud. I’m truly grateful for the character of Gopal Sharma and for the opportunities that came my way,” Sameer concluded.
